Ishwarah is the brainchild of Archanna Kapoor – a storyteller of textiles, a curator of heritage, and a believer in slow fashion. An INSEAD alumna with 17+ years in the corporate world, Archanna found her true calling beyond boardrooms – amidst the looms, threads, and textures of India’s rich textile landscape.

"It wasn’t just fabric; it was history woven into every thread."

As she listened to the artisan describe how his grandfather had taught him the craft, she realized these weren’t just textiles being lost – they were legacies, entire cultural narratives fading away.

She saw a future where handwoven fabrics weren’t just heirlooms, but everyday essentials. Where handloom wasn’t a choice between history and style, but a blend of both.
